2 CORINTHIANS 5 V 18: "NOW ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD, WHO HAS RECONCILED US TO HIMSELF THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, AND HAS GIVEN US A MINISTRY OF RECONCILLIATION."(KJV)

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour we are new creations and the older things have passed away, verse 17 of 2 Corinthians teaches us that and through the Blood of the Lamb we have overcome and are reconciled with our Father in Heaven through the foregiveness of our sins, the same sins that seperated us from God in the first place. So we should be joyful and able to spread the Good News that what God has done for us he will do for others, seems simple enough yet so hard to put into practice, many of our churches preach to the converted and apart from Summer fetes and other social events have little contact with those outside their congregation, yet the scripture tells us we have a ministry of RECONCILLIATION which means to BRING TOGETHER, TO MAKE PEACE, TO RESTORE HARMONY. If God himself has given us this ministry through Jesus then he would not intend that ministry to fail or not bear fruit.
Those Christians taking their faith seriously and who wish to share their faith with others will not be alone, the Holy Spirit will be with them every step of the way and their will be Signs and Wonders promised where the Gospel is preached, this is all part of that ministry of RECONCILLIATION. So what is going wrong, are we simply too lazy, or have many of us become elitist with regards to our faith, do we expect those outside the church to fit into our ways and traditions rather than meeting people at their point of need? or do we no longer have confidence to spread a message against opposition from other faiths who also claim to know the truth, why should we have doubt or fear? God is not calling people to pass strict religious exams or tests but to simply listen to those who bring a message of the Suffering Servant Jesus, who through his Blood, has made a way to the Father,a Father who would never allow mankind to perish so sent his Son to save us and bring us back to his Father and our Father.
In the modern church we hear of Healing, Deliverance, and Prosperity, well none can be achieved without us being reconciled to the Father. This is the REVELATION that every spirit filled Christian has that ministry and certainly every church should be operating in that ministry.
